Demons Are Real

This photo was taken in August of this year (2007). I know that there are forces that exist, although we may not always accept their validity.

I love photography, and have been able to for some reason to capture the paranormal on my digital media. My husband and I enjoy taking our cameras with us and finding interesting things to photograph.

We had gone to this small village outside the city where we live here in Norfolk, England. (UK). We brought our dog,Dolly out with us, as she likes the rides on my scooter. I decided that I wanted to take a couple of photos of the little church and chapel on the outskirts of the village.

Earlier in the evening, there had been some youths drinking and what-not in the church grounds. I didn't think anything of it, as if I had said anything, I would have gotten abuse. Besides, the church and chapel didn't seem to be used much by the villagers.

The cemetery had a small number of headstones evenly spaced, and it wasn't crowded like other cemetery's. I thought with the evening moving in, that I could get some really nice photos.

My dog, who is a Yorkie/Jack Russell X terrier, sensed something and became agitated. She was on her back literally like she was trying to move away from something. I thought it was the sound of the cars unnerving her and continued to shoot off a couple of pics.

My dog had been shaking, which I had put down to the cool weather. On the way back from the church, she calmed down. It wouldn't be until I got home later that I would find out what the problem was that upset her so much to cause her to tremble so badly.

I uploaded the photos onto my computer. I noticed something strange. I thought maybe it was an apparition of one of the tenants in the churchyard cemetery. I am use to photographing the inexplicable, but I was not prepared for what was on my camera.

To me, it reminded me of a gargoyle, which can be seen high up on some cathedrals. It wasn't an apparition that I had expected to see. I had used auto flash setting on my camera. I can tell you there is no such ornament in the churchyard.

It sent chills up my spine when I first saw the photo. I asked my husband to take a look at the photo. He told me that he knew that the churchyard had been used for drugs, drinking and other things by the local youths. I asked him if any rituals had been practiced in that churchyard to create such a manifestation.

Obviously, there was no threat of harm to me, due to my faith in the Lord. The chill that went through me was what practice could have invoked such a thing on what is deemed sacramented ground.

There are talks of Devil Dogs in the Norfolk Area; and one such creature had manifested itself several centuries ago in a small village, where I use to live in '89. I had seen the pillar where the beast left it's imprints. However, I wasn't sure to the validity of such creatures, until (1) I saw Black Shuck when I was married to my second husband, which failed shortly after seeing the creature, (2) this photograph of what either appears to be a gargoyle of legends or even a demon dog.

It is obvious that the creature couldn't get near me, but it was what my little dog picked up on and alerted me to by her actions.

People have to realize that there is a G-d, and His son sacrificed himself for us , and that forces of good and evil do exist.

It is easy to pooh-pooh the idea of ghosts, demons, angels etc. However, these things do exist all around us, even when we are not aware of their presence in our lives. It is important to keep your mind and heart on the Lord, so the dark forces can't come near you.

I think it was my faith that protected me when my dog sensed this creature. Also, my faith in the Lord keeps me calm in the wake of any paranormal event.
